Coconut oil can be used by people with dry or combination skin types. It will help replenish hydration in your skin. Below are some things you can use to get healthy glowing skin:

1. Coconut Oil:

Coconut is loved by all because of its numerous use. Coconut gives our food that wonderful taste and scent. But its oil also does wonders to the skin. 

You can use coconut oil on its own, or it can be combined with salt, sugar or baking soda to make a scrub. You can use the scrub to exfoliate your skin two to three times weekly. Coconut oil does the following to your skin:

Baking soda is a natural exfoliator because it helps to remove the dead cells on your skin when used as a scrub. All you have to do is mix your baking soda with water, olive oil or honey to create a paste.

3. Honey:

Honey can be used to get acne free glowing skin naturally. It is a moisturizer that can nourish your skin and help treat acne. Honey helps improve the immune system which reduces inflammation and reduces the bacteria that cause acne, so it should be taken raw. Honey also helps to reduce or remove scares from the body. It exfoliates your skin naturally, by removing dead skin cells which make your skin dull. Test the honey at a part of your arm, to know if you are allergic to it. If there is no allergic reaction, then you can use it on your face.

You can use it on its own or mix it with cinnamon powder or baking soda and apply on your face. Leave it on for ten to twenty minutes, then wash off. After washing, apply any moisturizer like coconut oil or olive oil to give your skin extra moisture.

4. Olive Oil:

To get acne free glowing skin naturally, you need your olive oil handy. Olive oil has numerous vitamins like Vitamin A, D, E, K in it. Olive oil has an antioxidant that protects the skin from free radicals. Research has shown that taking vitamin E and K helps to clear your acne.

Take note that turmeric adds colour so therefore, it can stain your hand and nails, giving it yellow orange like colour. Do a test on your hand to see if you are allergic to it first. If you are not allergic, then you can use it directly on your face. Make a turmeric paste by adding a little water, or honey. Mix properly and rub your paste on your face. Leave it for fifteen to twenty minutes then wash out.

To get healthy glowing skin, you cant do without sunscreen. Staying under the sun for too long can cause sunburn and give you more wrinkles which is causing more harm than good to your skin. Sunscreen helps protect your skin from UV ray damage. When getting a sunscreen, get the one with a sun protection factor (SPF) of fifteen or higher. When using your sunscreen, use it generously before going out under the sun.

7. Aloe vera:

Aloe vera has always been used since the beginning of time for several purposes. It is filled with vitamin A and E, antioxidants etc. Aloe vera has moisturizer ability and it helps to sooth sunburns. It can be used by all skin types and can help prevent a breakout. To get acne free glowing skin naturally, cut out one aloe vera leaf, slice it open and scup out the gel. Apply aloe vera gel on the face directly.

8. Yoghurt:

Yes, yoghurt is a delicious snack, but it can also be used for skin treatment. This thick smooth snack is a natural moisturizer. It is better to use plain unsweetened yoghurt instead of flavoured sweet yoghurt. Yoghurt can be used raw on its own or you can mix it with honey or olive oil or turmeric.
